My cousins might be moving in with us. I really hope they do. I told my grandma we should put the youngest under my name so I could get more financial aid and my food stamps back. She laughed, but I was serious.

Being at my mom’s house is entirely different than being home. At her house there’s stars everywhere you look, the sunset/sunrise is amazing, there’s mountain views all around, and all the neighbors wave hello. At home all I hear is bachata coming from upstairs, a party at the building across from me, sirens, car horns, screeching tires, and the smell of weed from next door.
